It has been quite a week up in Wisconsin for the Lilly family. Not only did holiday cheer commence but the first snow arrived. Lilly is a Wisconsin cat by nature, but that is not to say that she doesn’t enjoy the warmth and comfort of being inside.

As they say, once a princess, always a princess! She has spent much of her time as of late buried under mountains of blankets. As usual, pink suits her complexion best.
I must admit that Lilly was a little thrown by the large amount of snow we got. The first blizzard of the season! She seemed perfectly content to watch the chaos from the inside! What kitty would want to get their paws all cold and wet? Not her!

Sometimes don’t you wonder whether they realize how truly lucky they are to get to be able to sit inside and stare? As Lilly watched out the window I longingly stared back at the warmth of my apartment . There in the window was Lilly, the happiest of cats, peeking out from behind the blinds. In the meantime, there I was, digging my vehicle out of the snow in the very cold weather. Oh to be a cat… what a life…

Hope all of you and your pet friends are keeping warm! Don’t let the winter get you down, and when all else fails, remember the simple things, like kitties do!
