One of the closest and most important things to Lilly and the Lilly family's heart is adoption. There are many cats out there in need of a home. Lilly was a shelter cat and a stray cat before her adoption. Clearly life has changed quite a bit for her, but there are still many wonderful cats out there awaiting adoption!

Todays adoptable kitty comes to you straight from Wisconsin. She is at the Mounds Sun Prairie branch of the Dane County Humane Society, and sounds like a very sweet girl!

Her name is Dax. Like Lilly, she is a domestic shorthair! She has a beautiful black coat and those stunning green eyes! She is front paw declawed and sounds like a sweetheart! Here is what the Dane County Humane Society says of Dax:

"Dax is a super loving 3-year-old front declawed female who cannot wait for her forever home! She has the softest fur and loves being brushed and loved. She's very mellow and loves sitting on laps! Our big hearted friend Dax gets along well with other cats but would prefer a home without small children. She would like a quiet home where she can relax and enjoy the love of her special person.
