Dear Fellow Anipals and Humans,
How was your Valentine's Day? Mine was pretty uneventful. I started the morning super early... around 4:30 am. I figured since it was a holiday I was entitled to begin the celebrations early!
On Sunday morning I tried an all new tactic to get the humans up! It is called dive bombing. All you have to do is find a surface on the left or right of the human. Then, just when they are looking as if they are in their deepest sleep... take a flying leap off your departure point and pounce directly onto the middle of their chest. This is excellent because not only does it wake them up but it startles them so that they can't even PRETEND to still be sleeping! Once you see that eye open you are in the clear to ask for your kibbles. I certainly did... but alas... I got scolded. Oh well, a kitties got to try, huh?
Really though, I had a pretty good Valentine's Day. I played with my Valentine's catnip toy and enjoyed not having to go out in the cold. I smelled lots of good chocolate laying around but mom kept it far far away from me. Even though it smells nummy and delicious to me... I guess chocolate really isn't good for cats (or dogs). Oh anipals, the life that we live! To be denied chocolate and sweets. I suppose it is for our own good.
I can't believe the weekend is over... but they do tend to go by super fast. Today is a gloomy and cold day, and I am spending it cuddled underneath the blankets with my mouse.
Hope you all had a most fantastic Valentine's Day! You can always continue the celebration by making your own catnip toy, which you can see how to do below. It is never too late for a little catnip love!
Happy Monday!
Meow on my friends!

My human thought it would be fun to take a video of my dinner this evening...
