Hello anipals!
Lately there has been a lot of hubbub going around about eating right. I don't quite understand it. I'm a cat... when I'm hungry (which is most of the time) I eat. No big deal, right? Well, mom doesn't seem to be of the same thought process.

In the wild if it smells good and looks good then you go ahead and eat it. My fellow feline brothers and sisters of the Animal Kingdom know this. But here in human world everything is so different! Instead of delectable meals I am stuck eating cardboard kibbles. Why?
Why is it that instead of appreciating the simple goodness of wet food does mom insist on making it a huge production? Food ratings? What is she talking about? Again, if it smells and tastes good, then it is perfect!!
It is simple really... food, eat. Not food, ignore. For example...

although this pink hamster toy is just as annoying as when mom doesn't let me eat nummy food... it is not for eating. It doesn't smell good and it most certainly doesn't taste good! So therefore, I ignore it.
So what is the deal? Why won't mom let me eat the good stuff?
I think she is just afraid that if she feeds me human food I will want it all the time. I don't really see the problem with that... oh well.
No worries anipals, it isn't all a loss! I do manage to pick up some spare crumbs on the floor... and sometimes I can convince the boy human with my big eyes that I really need a piece of his shrimp or salmon dish. Having that boy around does have it's advantages...
Until tomorrow anipals! Hope you are all doing well! Tune in tomorrow to meet our adoptee of the week!
Much love, purrs, and nose taps,
