Good morning anipals! I hope this Monday finds you in a state of relaxation and bliss! It is supposed to be a holiday weekend here in the states... but I don't know if I really understand this whole "Fourth of July" thing.

You know what they should really call it? The "I can't get a bit of alone time because my human is constantly stalking me" day. You would think that things would have been low key considering mom worked all weekend and the boy human was out of town... but still mom just couldn't get enough of me!

Maybe she was lonely, I don't know. Sometimes humans are so needy! She kept finding me no matter where I went!

I started off trying to sleep in plain site... but clearly that didn't work. The second I got comfy there was mom, wanting to hang out. I tried sticking my head in the blankets but it didn't work...

Then I tried hiding behind the blinds... but she found me there too...

I may or may not have gotten reprimanded for bending the blinds. It's not my fault the human engineers designed it without a kitty hatch in it!

Anywho, last but not least I tried my most sacred, most secret spot in the house. This is the spot where usually I can hide for days and no one ever finds me...

but she found me here TOO!

Honestly anipals, there is only so much human time a cat can take. It's not like we never want to hang out! When we go to them they are always "busy" or doing "non-kitty" things. Well what do they expect then when they come around wanted attention! Please!

Anyways, I hope dear anipals that at least some of you were able to get some rest. If not... at least the hoilday is over and sooner or later you will be returning to your regularly scheduled sleep repertoire! ;)
