*Sigh*

Anipals, it has been quite a weekend. You as well as I know our proper place in the household. We, as kings, queens, princes and princesses extraordinaire, are meant to get a certain amount of respect. I'm talking R-E-S-P-E-C-T! But for some reason... the humans at times seem to forget our superior role in their kingdom...

It has been a constant battle for me to try and point out to the humans, especially the BOY human, that all furniture should be automatically presented to me for my lounging comfort before them. This means that if they are on the couch they should allow me to either A) take their spot or B) lay on top of them as if they were a couch.

One problem area that especially bugs me is the black throne. This throne is the comfiest place in the house and I love it! I sleep on it, lounge on it, watch tv on it, etcetera!

But for SOME reason the BOY human thinks it's his! He has the NERVE to come over to me and, even if I'm sleeping, lift me off the chair onto the floor! How DARE he?!

I try and give him the eye... but it doesn't stop him.

Then I end up on the floor... like this.

It is awful.

And it isn't just the boy human who is outstepping his place! Mom is doing it too! I love mom...she lets me sit in the chairs I want and use her as a couch/bed if I so choose. But lately she has had it stuck in her brain to be the photographer for the family. Normally this would be okay... but she is not taking very flattering pictures!

I would expect more from her... honestly! How can she possibly take such an awful picture of me?

Perhaps she is jealous of my beauty. Oh well, what can you do? I guess I will just have to keep sticking my ground and ensuring that if the humans do step out of place that they know they've done wrong! I shall achieve this through many evil death stares and horrifying meowls.
